What is our vision of a sustainable event?

An event which:

• enables you to achieve more whilst using fewer resources
• shows leadership on doing things differently
• minimises negative and maximises positive impacts
• leaves a lasting legacy of change
• raises the standard of what is socially acceptable and creates a new norm

We recognise that working towards a sustainable event could require a partnership approach with individuals, business, government and non governmental organisations.

The organisations on the advisory board represent these bodies and have identified targets as goals to work towards for a sustainable event in 2018.
