2012: A Year of Sustainability in the Event Industry
We have partnered with the MPI UK and Ireland Chapter to create a free education session that will be taking place at Excel during International Confex and the International Outdoor Event Expo on 7th March 2012.
Past Events
In 2011, we worked with EIBTM to run the Sustainable Events Corner at the show. We received some great feedback for our role in supporting organisations through the advice clinic, discussions, and presentations from sustainability experts. We set up a dedicated website area to provide information and updates. Find out more at the EIBTM 2011 page.
Positive Impact team members have facilitated round table discussions at the Sustainable Events Summit, participated as panellists in debates at Friends House Conference Centre and for Tourism Society Yorkshire, as well as providing sustainability support at the Confex Advice Centre.
