A message from Positive Impact, Wednesday 30th November

We would like to thank all of our speakers for the brilliant presentations they delivered yesterday, including ROI and sustainability, sustainable procurement and tips for event sustainability. We’re looking forward to meeting more enthusiasts and novices, who are hoping to learn more about sustainability and today we have some of the biggest industry experts on hand, delivering presentations and advice.

Drop in at Stand G800 and find out about the latest developments within the industry, from our GMIC experts, including how to make your events more sustainable and how to show leadership in sustainability. We also have case studies from ACC Liverpool and Universal WorldEvents, who will be giving practical examples of how they have succeeded in implementing sustainability into their venue and events.

This afternoon we will hear from Andrew Walker, with his session “The business case for sustainability”, which will provide an insight into the reasons sustainability is so much more than buzz word. Sustainable events specialist Rebecca Saunders will be on hand to facilitate a discussion on the challenges to implementing sustainability, so come along a get your views heard. Experts will be around to answer you questions most of the day, but have dedicated time specifically from 16.30 for a drop in advice clinic, so if there is anything you want to ask, feel free to pop in.

Tomorrow is another action packed day with MPI’s Roger Simons on delivering a presentation on sustainability trends, as well as offering advice. We have some great sessions around sustainability reporting and the use of online tools, from sustainable events professional Rebecca Saunders. This afternoon is dedicated to our advice clinic, so once again feel free to drop on by at any time.

If you would like to find out more about the 20 sustainable actions and how you can make you events more sustainable then our industry experts will be able to give you guidance and information.
